Perfecting Fully Automated: eliminates any manual intervention required by traditional systems. Each sheet is transferred from one gripper to the other via a double-gripper mechanism designed by Mitsubishi. This technologically advanced conversion unit ensures precise sheet transfer and perfect registration. Pressing a button on the console activates the perfecting device and automatically performs seven complex functions. These include synchronizing the opening/closing of the grippers on the double-diameter perfecting cylinders, positioning the vacuum device, and synchronizing the two conversion cylinders. The entire process takes less than 3 minutes, reducing start-up times and increasing machine productivity. Conversion on the Mitsubishi 3FR is truly easy.
