Note: A.Mohr founded in 1906 in Germany, began producing paper cutters under the "Polar" brand in 1947. In the 50s and 60s the range grew and the 80 cm became a very popular format. The Polar 80 model debuted in the 50s and 60s with the Polar 80 HY model with high mechanical reliability, a robust structure and a weight of approximately 1500 kg. In 1969 the Polar 80 EL "Eltromat" was presented with electromagnetic control and a blowing table to facilitate paper handling. In 2010 the Polar 80 ECO/Plus models were introduced with a 5.5" monochrome display, 198 memories and touch display in the Plus version.
