Note: A.Mohr founded in 1906 in Germany, began producing paper cutters under the "Polar" brand in 1947, taking advantage of the post-war reconversion. The Polar 92 model debuted in 1969 with the EL version, in 1976 the Polar 92 CE model integrated the "Eltromat" control system for recording and microcontrol. Later in the 80s the Polar 92 EMC/EMC-Monitor was marketed, introducing computerized program control (up to 99 programs), variable hydraulic pressure, safety photocells and a total weight of 2000 kg. In 1995 the Polar 92 E/ED model was presented, introducing the digital monitor and electronic programs, color display and flashcard reader (ED) with a speed of 45 cuts/minute. In 2005 the Polar 92 X/XT model extended automation with peripheral connections and advanced management systems; new Polar 92 N is still in production with 18.5" touch display, Compucut software, automatic waste removal, and other optionals is defined as the evolution of the fast series.
