Just over a year after its previous installation, Tipolitografia Biellese has once again placed its trust in RMGT technology and WGM’s support.

Botalla doubles down with RMGT and installs a new 1060ST-5.

Tipolitografia Botalla has reaffirmed its confidence in RMGT technology by installing a new RMGT 1060ST-5 at its Biella facility. This investment comes just over a year after the installation of an RMGT 970 ST-5, underscoring a path of technological growth built on reliability, performance, and production continuity.

The new offset press—installed by our team in record time—is already fully operational. For Botalla, this marks a new step in a production upgrade strategy focused on print quality, automation, and energy efficiency.

A Choice Rooted in Trust

The decision to invest in RMGT again came after a careful evaluation of the alternatives available on the market. For Botalla, however, the choice was a natural one. Their positive experience over more than twenty years with the classic Mitsubishi D3000, combined with the recent installation of the RMGT 970 ST-5, provided a solid guarantee of quality, reliability, and productivity. The previous investment had already marked a significant milestone for the Biella-based company, introducing a machine recognized as the first in Europe to feature Skeleton cylinders. The new RMGT 1060ST-5 now further strengthens their machinery lineup and solidifies their partnership with our company. "Just send the contract. We don’t need a demo": with these words, the Botalla team summed up their confidence in RMGT technology—which continues to stand out for reliability and innovation—and in WGM’s support services.

Installation in Record Time

Our team managed the entire process, from contract signing to installation, with a speed that meets the demands of the modern printing industry. In just one week, the RMGT 1060ST-5 moved from the WGM showroom in Castelfranco Veneto to Biella, where it was installed and put into production. This rapid turnaround allowed Botalla to minimize transition times and quickly integrate the new technology into their production workflow.

Automation, productivity, and energy efficiency

Key strengths of the new RMGT 1060ST-5 include its high level of automation, reduced makeready times, and energy efficiency. The machine is designed to ensure production continuity and process stability—two crucial factors for companies operating in a market increasingly driven by rapid turnaround times, consistent quality, and cost optimization. Energy consumption is a particularly notable feature, requiring just 31 kW at a speed of 12,000 sheets per hour, thanks to the latest-generation ECOdrive motor. This allows the machine to combine industrial-grade performance with a commitment to operational sustainability.

Botalla strengthens its market position

With this new investment, Tipolitografia Botalla reaffirms its commitment to innovative printing solutions and strengthens its market position. The new RMGT 1060ST-5 enables the company to increase production capacity, improve process efficiency, and maintain high quality standards, while continuing to meet the needs of clients and handle increasingly complex print jobs.

“We are honored to support Tipolitografia Botalla in this new chapter. Their confidence in our technology and support team motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries of offset printing, redefining what is possible in the industry,” says WGM CEO Mauro Beghetto.

This new installation confirms the relationship of trust between Botalla, RMGT, and WGM, reflecting a strategic business decision based on continuity, technological reliability, and the ability to keep pace with the evolution of offset printing.
