BOBST SP 102-E sold to KLAIST LUXURY SHOPPING BAGS in Italy

Klaist was founded in 1998 by experienced packaging entrepreneur Alberto Bonfanti. With its factory in the center of the Veneto region between Venice and the Dolomites, it produces customized shoppers and boxes for important Italian and foreign customers.

The quality of the product is allowed by the control of the entire supply chain which also guarantees very short delivery times compared to the competition.

With over 4 million manual shopping bags and over 1 million self-assembling boxes, Klaist handles over 2,500 orders per year. Hence the need to work alongside an equally serious supplier who could automate the bottleneck created in the die-cutting department.

A few months earlier, our company had taken over an entire packaging company for the pharmaceutical industry which included HEIDELBERG CD 102-5+LX sheetfed presses, VEGA folder gluers, POLAR cutting machine, CTP Fuji and also a beautiful BOBST SP 102-E die cutting machine which for Klaist represented a quick investment to make and practically at "KM 0" since the machine was moved only 30 km!
