He is both a friend and a customer of ours; in the past he purchased from one of our competitors just because of the difficulty to find financing; then, as if by magic, he was "helped" by a recovery agreement made with the former supplier that costed almost a 30% more than its actual market value.
All this allowed to start with a machine that he could not afford and that, year after year, caused great difficulties to the company because it was a difficult gap to recover in a market where the human relation misses. This one was the factor that allowed many little companies to keep their prices without big problems; but now, in a market in crisis like the graphic field, the main item is the price, at a loss of service and quality.
As soon as this occasion arrived, this company have ordered a Heidelberg CD 102-4 to us, equipped with CP2000 and many optionals. We found out this machine in the italian market, coming from a prestigious printshop in Romagna.
The machine have started working immediately and at full capacity with 15.000 c/h, as a demonstration that recent machines don't need a full overhauling if they have had a correct and careful maintenance. This is the example that printers are not unprepared and ready to believe to anyone's word blindly as occured in the past with sellers that were able to sell theirselves better that the product. Now professional salesmen are recognized and people believe only to facts and not to pure word.
